Huge Toy Donation to St. Joseph's Pediatric Outpatient Clinic from Local Security Company Make Christmas Merry for Many Your Patients

The Pediatric Outpatient Care Clinic of St. Joseph Medical Center was overwhelmed a couple days before Christmas when three carloads of toys arrived to share with patients, thanks to a toy drive held by AlliedBarton Security Services, located in White Marsh.

The St. Joseph clinic, which takes care of many underprivileged children, as well as those from working families on low-incomes, was filled to the brim and is still giving out presents to its young patients, many of whom would not have received toys over the holiday.

"Parents were so touched that they were crying," says Dr. Colette Morris, director of St. Joseph's Pediatric Outpatient Care Clinic. "We see about 50 patients a day, and most of them are in need. This is the first time that a generous holiday donation like this has occurred, and we are very grateful to be able to provide some happiness for these children and their families. Many have told me that they did not have money for presents this year."
