St. Joseph Maternal Child Health Announces

Pregnancy Loss Support Line Begins January 1, 2010

The Maternal Child Health division of the department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at St. Joseph Medical Center announces a new support service for parents who are grieving over the loss of a pregnancy. It's a telephone support line that will connect callers to a maternal child nurse who specializes in supporting parents experiencing a loss.

Parents can call the line Monday – Friday between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. A St. Joseph nurse will be paged and will return the call to the parent as soon as possible.

The line is available to patients of St. Joseph Medical Center and to the general community.
