Family Childbirth Center

Mother Baby Room St. Joseph's Family Childbirth Center offers high-quality, personalized care for normal and high-risk pregnancies. With homelike labor and delivery and recovery suites, the Family Childbirth Center is designed to make this precious time for new moms as safe and pleasant as possible. Mother and baby who stay in the same room are attended to by one nurse. Our postpartum rooms are spacious and private, and fathers are invited to remain with their newly expanded families.

Pagers are available for expectant dads so they can be with their loved one for the special moment. To reserve a pager, please call 410-337-1337.

Lactation consultants provide special support for breastfeeding mothers both during your stay and after you go home. The Family Childbirth Center also offers grandparent and sibling visitation, and meals and snacks are available to new mothers any time of day. Call 410-337-1140 for more information.
